SRI UTPAL GOSWAMI is an Engineer who passed BE (Civil) from Jorhat Engineering College in the year 1982 and served in the Assam PWD for 36 years and achieved experiences in almost all the field of works and finally retired from services as Deputy Secretary (Superintending Engineer) in the year 2018.Inspite of being an engineer, he wrote more than 400 poems and many short stories. Two of his books namely “Uttaran” (poetry collection) and “Jibonor rong” (Short story collection) are under process for publication. He also has a handful of travel writings in his bags which will be counted as valuable contribution to the society.He carries a great social value with his personality having huge willpower and in-depth understanding of the society.
